God I hate the Packers!!! However I loved to watch Brett play. Just like I hated Dale Earnhardt Sr. but you couldnt deny he was a great driver. In his fairwell speech Farve said he didnt have anything left to give which I think says alot about him as a person and as a player to know that you are done and not cheat the fans or the team of having someone who really wants to play the game. God Bless and Good Luck.

I saw his speech a few minutes ago and you can tell he was speaking from his heart. It takes a strong person to walk away when they are offering you the kind of money that these guys make. I'm not a Packers fan, but Brett Favre was a great player and you can't take that away from him. He was also always polite, intelligent and seemed to be genuinly nice when interviewed, as opposed to some of these other guys who are in it stricly for the money, can't carry on an intelligent conversation and you can't understand a word they say! Best of luck in your retirement Brett....you deserve it!

I am a big Packer backer. My first date with my husband was to a Packer game. He was a season ticket holder. We'll be married 27 years this month, so the Pack has always been my good luck charm. We'll miss Farve, but players come and go, but the Pack will always stay in Green Bay. (For my wedding I got a bumper sticker that said "I Love a Cheesehead.)
