http://i105.photobucket.com/albums/m240/davethedead/darwin/IMG_5081.jpg
I made a PVC frame body to mount the head on, and added chickenwire for the torso.
The chickenwire was stuffed with newspaper, and the arms and legs were bulked out with newspaper, then duct-taped to seal the whole thing.

http://i105.photobucket.com/albums/m240/davethedead/HF%20prop%20challenge/IMG_5104.jpg
At this point, I changed the leg configuration slightly to the curled up position in the final pose. I tore the bedsheet into strips, and soaked it in mistint latex paint, wrapping the body. While the paint was still wet, I added torn up cheesecloth.

Once this was dry, I airbrushed the mummy with acrylic paints and added in a single eyeball (made from a roll-on deodorant ball, a printed iris, and coated in epoxy)

Really Amazing, especially for the price. Just one question, though: What exactly is he doing with his left hand? Is that why he looks so confused/surprised? Great job!

Hey Rawr, I wasn't trying to mess with you. It just tickled my funny bone or bones...whatever. I don't think Dave meant anything by it either. And he's right we're all a ship of fools. Normal people don't survive around here.
To misquote George Carlin: "Think about how dumb the average person you meet is...and then realize that half of 'em are dumber than that."

Excellent job Dave! I have to ask though, since I can't tell from the photo - how are your joints created? What is holding the PVC pipes together?
EDIT- Did you torch the joints and bend the PVC?
