My vote is to move on this ASAP. Personally, I think the further we get into Spring/Summer, the harder it will be to get everyone together. Just a thought... I'm definitely ready to do a build!

Since everyone seemed sort of interested in the faux wooden sign I showed off at the last one, would any of you like a demo make/take for the faux wood process?

We should move on planning this ASAP.

Also, later in the spring (like perhaps in May) I'd like to host one of these in my backyard for a MA Haunter's BBQ.

Also, later in the spring (like perhaps in May) I'd like to host one of these in my backyard for a MA Haunter's BBQ.

That would be great. Burgers, beer and building props. What could be better? As for the next Make and Take, you'll probably have to count me out. Between all the conventions in May and June, I'll most likely be elsewhere. But, we'll see when it's scheduled for before I commit or not.

Zombie-F
03-29-2008, 04:59 PM
Well, what weekend would you be around? I could try and plan it for that weekend. I'd love to have you over to the house for BBQ food and Beer. :D

BuriedAlive
03-29-2008, 06:28 PM
Well, it's nice to know I haven't done anything on the forum or at the Make and Takes to tick you off, Z-F, so you'd want to keep your distance. Well, at least not yet, anyways. As it stands right now, May 18 or May 24 are good for me.

Vlad

We were supposed to pee OFF the deck?

Talking Skull -Or is that too Difficult?

Talking skulls would be a little hard to do for april because its almost over.

Lotus, I liked your air canon and I think everyone could probably afford the parts. The light organ kit can be purchased for under $20. Corpsing might be a good project too. I've done 6 full Buckys and countless other corpsing including masks, books and assorted props. I also have 4 gallons of latex left from my 5 gallon Screamline Studios bucket that I could divy up for a fee (not to make profit, but to recover costs). A Prop-1 101 might be good too.

As for a date, there are a lot of conventions and gatherings coming up, so we might want to work around those so everyone can make it.

Will you be having a make-n-take this month? I had a great time last month. It was great being able to sit back and participate! Is there anything I can do to help out this month?

Prop 101 would be great.
Not sure how far the Garage of Evil Guys are from MA.
I know they drove up for the Eastcoast Haunt club last yr.
They are out of RI.

Also This looks like a really cool but cheap Prop. Thanks Marcus123

Not sure if this will be an April thing. I will be on Vacation In FL with
my family until 4/24. Hopefully I can make the next one. It was really great

My birthday is on the 16th of may and just to let you know, if you plan on having the get together in that time space of the month I really do expect presents.

No presure. Just maybee a cake, some balloons, a pinata, some streamers, maybee pizza, icecream, some small games, maybe even a petting zoo.

But just dont go too overboard.

Damn It I should of said that for the make and take in March

as for a make and take for april its not going to happen = ( but we got Zombie's BBQ in May if he is still up to it and maybe a make and take the same month.

Darn...looking at the title of the thread, I thought you were going to go meet a "ma" or 2 and choose which one to take home.

If you have a bbq at Zombie's and do a prop build it would need to be a
"meat and take" ba dum bum LOL!

Back to your regularly scheduled thread!

Sorry, I didn't get a lot of sleep........

I say we pick a day in May (work around Zombie's BBQ and Eastern Haunter's Convention). Put it in Pyro's back yard, Fairhaven. If we need a quick project we can corpse the foam skulls we made (I'll have a few extras on hand). I can show people how to create facial features so it looks like a zombie instead of just a corpse. Zombie-F mentioned making foam signs too. Both projects are affordable for everyone. What say you?

pyro
04-26-2008, 07:35 PM
for me the 24 and the 31 is open for saturdays or 11,18,25,on sunday or if every one is not working on labor day-26th- i have thin foam if wanted for signs.
we should find out when Z wants the bbq

Lotus
04-26-2008, 09:35 PM
I prolly won't be able to make any of them cause of finals

Noooooo! Lotus, you have to be there. If you're not there our group's average IQ drops by 20 points. Then again it drops another twenty when I show up. :googly:

I will try I know that I am not being tested for Lighting Design. So I got is Metal Fabrications, Electricial Systems, and Women's Tech (This is an awesome class it suspose to be an 1 hr 15 min class but my teacher makes it a 20 min class everyday)

HalloweenZombie
04-27-2008, 06:14 PM
Women's Tech? Are you learning to fix women? That would be an awesome skill, because most of them are wired wrong. Mine almost never does what I tell her to. Can you fix that?

Sorry, I can't make it. My brother in law is finally graduating from college (6 years to finish. He's not dumb, just a wife, 3 kids, a job and national guard leaves him little time for school. Went to school part time, hence 6 years to complete), so we're holding a huge kegger for him that day.

hawkchucker
05-08-2008, 05:31 AM
Unfortunatly I will be unable to attend. The house is open on Sebago and the Me,orial weekend party there has to be done. Ya know Yardwork, ordering tables, and the crap that goes with it.

Zombie-F
05-08-2008, 05:43 AM
Sadly, I won't be able to attend this month either. I have a lot of home projects that I've started that need to be finished... new front walk, strip/paint the exterior, yardwork, etc.

HalloweenZombie
05-08-2008, 07:01 PM
Unfortunately, I too will be unable to attend. Pyro lives way to far from me and I just can't afford the gas money.

hawkchucker
05-08-2008, 07:08 PM
Its allways funny how during the Fall and winter and to a point spring. Meets take place everywhere. However summer comes and everyone has the weekends booked, and everything else falls away. I for one really dread giving up weekends rather being at my place on Sebago. However i am positive that I will be going to the Salem Event.

pyro
