Ok- I bought this cool chest at Micheals yeasterday thinking i could make a "baby" monstor in a box- it is about 18 inches across, 14 inches high and 12 inches deep- any ideas on how to pull this off? I could put one small computer speaker inside and a small light- but what about the fog adn shanking mechanism? Input is greatly appreciated! Examples even better! thanks!

The shaking mech could actually mounted underneath like the crate was siting on another box the box could look like a skid or step or just be hidden. The fog could be pumped into the box much in the same way a fogger goes to a chiller. We actually use one fogger piped to several effects rather than dedicating a fogger to one item. Yes we get mixed results but we are the only ones who know.

When I saw this it also gave me an idea of a Trash Can Trauma pop-up in the suitcase...
And if the whole thing shaking is too much i'm sure there is an easy way to make the chains rattle to give the effect

Don't know about how to get the fog in there, but a small motor with a counterweight would shake the box. Something like this would work - just attach a weight to the shaft.

Do you plan to have it fire via a PIR or other type of sensor?

I saw those at Micheals the other day as well. They were like 25% off.
