Only till Nov. 1st (duh) I'm doing it for the discount bay-bee! and the wife and I agreed, every dime I make is going towards Halloween stuff!

I walked in today and asked if they were hiring, the manager said no.
20 minutes after sharing my rabid love of all things horror and halloween and telling her about my full time job as a store detective (they have been getting ripped off quite a bit) I was hired on the spot. I start tomorrow. Here is my list of "to get" so far:

Congratulations on the temp. job. Hope the discount is a good one. Will working the temp. job mean you'll have to work on Halloween night or have you already informed them that you can't work that day?
I've already taken advantage of the discount from Party City where my daughter is working as a temp Halloween Expert. So far we've purchased a fog machine w/remote for $14.99 and two gallons of fog juice for $9.00 each. She is loving her job and dealing with all the customers and talking about Halloween stuff.

No but I did offer to be paid in store credit. She was suprised and told me she'd let me know on friday.

Congrats! These stores have been popping up all around this year. I haven't had a chance to go to one but I've heard they're cool.

Its really a blast, scare the crap outta people, help kids find costumes, and the owners are cool as hell, they love Halloween as much as I do.
