This year HauntForum is leaving the design of it's apparel up to you, the HauntForum members! This will be run like a contest where we will accept designs from the members of the forum. Each member may submit up to a total of three designs. When the submission period is over, the forum leaders will choose the three best designs and let you, the members of HauntForum choose the design which will wind up on our T-Shirts for 2008.
The winner of this competition will receive a free T-Shirt and Hoodie (provided hoodies have enough interest to be ordered).
Here are some more specifics on how to create your design:
Size: All designs for the front and/or back of the shirt should be created to fit a maximum of 10" x 10" and be 200 dpi (a maximum of 2000 pixels wide x 2000 pixels high).
File Type: We will accept designs in the form of jpg, png, tiff, bmp, or psd.
The HauntForum Font: You can download the Black Castle MF Font (The HauntForum font) by clicking here (http://www.hauntforum.com/temp/BlackCat.ttf).
Colors: To keep the cost of the shirt at a minimum to the members, all shirts will be printed on black cotton t-shirts. In light of this, please limit the use of color in your design to two colors total (white and one other color).
Effects: Try not to get too fancy with shading, gradients and the like as this makes the shirt harder for the screening company to recreate.
Keep your source files! If you use photoshop or paintshop to create your design, please keep a copy of your layered file as we may need it to make adjustments to better fit the screener's requirements.
Some ideas you may want to work with are coming up with a slogan and coupling it with some kind of relevant artwork. Perhaps you could create a character that could be used as the HauntForum mascot. There is no limit to the type of design you come up with, with the exception that it must be a "family friendly" design (meaning no swears or other explicit adult material).
Only registered HauntForum members are eligible to enter this contest.

The deadline to enter will be by the end of the day (EDT) on Monday June 30th, 2008.
