Thought I'd start a thread of my ongoing work. Seeing as there are such talented folks around here, it's a little intimidating to post photos - but here goes!

First, a shot of our house. We've been in the place a year now - having moved from the city. If there's one thing I have going for me, it's our spooky Victorian! Haha. It makes up for my lack of assembly talent. Last year I had a decent Haunt going on - with lots of crank ghosts, ghouls, etc.

Just about done with the old 'Buried Alive' coffin. This is in the alley behind our place.

I'm going to set this on a small plywood board, and then load some dirt around it. Got the fog machine and green floodlight all set to go. Hanging some roots from the cross, and piling some dirt on, adds to the 'recently unearthed' effect.

My first corpsing. Creeps me out just to be in the workshop with this thing. Jeesh.

I wanted to have some fun with the creepy old photo technique, but in the future I'll post regular color shots as well.

Gosh landrvr1. Never be afraid to post. Zombie-F has created a real friendly place here. :D

I love the old-photo look of your pics and that's a great house to "haunt". That's a good looking corpse. Very creepy for sure. 'Buried Alive' coffins are popular with folks on this board too. It was a good choice for a project. It looks great. You'll get lots of compliments on the big night. Thanks for sharing your pics.

I really like it. That house is really scary looking, and the old look is awesome. And ScareFX is right about posting. Don't be afraid. Just be afraid when you start getting really good, and the cops come to your house because they think you have real corpses in your yard. LOL.

Very nice. Did you use a standard green floodlight for inside the barrel? I love that great, radioactive green!

Very nice Landrvr. I always liked the buried alive coffins.

Damn CC. Snow in the cemetery! We were in short sleeves last year here in NJ.

Ohh Nice house! looks like the one I grew up in. It was built by a Union General and was a waypoint for the underground Railroad. It had a secret room in the basement (you had to slide the furnace out of the way). And a wall in one of the third story bedrooms would slide to reveal a hiding place. there was also a dummy wall in the closet under the stairs.my mother found some cool stuff in those hiding spots. do some snooping you would be surprised at what might be in the walls. I took a ride by the old house the other day and it is in very bad shape. It would take a fortune to restore it. :(

Once again beautiful house! and nice spooky stuff too.

Your a great inspiration. I won't have the time this year, but a coffin and a corpse is on the top of the list for next. Great photos too, mind if I copie them?

I've never posted pics of my yard before-being around all these Halloween geniouses really intimidated me. However, my dear friend Vlad has been bugging me for pics, so here goes. The columns are going to be lit at night by the Count and the Countess each holding a candle to illuminate their face. We had some really bad weather which knocked down alot of our stuff so i have to reset it all, so more pics will follow when I get the back yard done too. I'd love to get feedback, being a relative newbie here.
