Lydia should have been our $20 contest entry, but a certain Mr. Ickie beat us to the punch (ha).
A bright and aspiring pupil, Lydia's life took a tragic turn after the sudden death of her mother and father. No one knows what happened that night, but Lydia saw something so horrible she plucked out her own eyes.

Thanks for the kind comments! My wife had the vision for Lydia and picked out her wardrobe and bunny. After we get her hair cut we will post another photo.

Poor little Lydia! She's adorable, I love the bunny too. The little dress and shoes are perfect, and the cameo really sets the outfit off. Nicely done!

But it all depends on what you are going for. I guess if its for kids and you don't want to scare them then yeah go with the pony tails.

Thanks folks. Pony tails and a haircut would have made her look like the neighbor's kid. We've grown too fond of her as she is - including Bruin, the devil dog.

The workmanship on her head and hands is a bit crude, but she has enough personality that we can't bring ourselves to store her in the garage.
