I guess this is a little Off-Topic but I need to know if there is a video camera out there that will record under blacklights. My haunt is a mostly indoor haunt with blacklights in every room and is very dark in my videos. I have messed with all my settings and it just does not look like I want it to. It might just be my camera and if so I am looking for a suggestion so I can get another camera. I want to add that the house is not very dark to the human eye it is actually blacklight "bright" and looks horrifically spectacular but it just does not capture that on video! Any help or suggestions - I have searched the net and have not found what I am looking for and the Best Buy team must not know much about blacklights!! I want to capture all my hard work and the party atmosphere this year!

I don't know much about the regular home user type video cameras, but I do know that the more higher end ones you can open up the aperature all the way to pick up as much light as possible which it should pick up all the details in your home. Check your owner's manual to see if you can go full manual and open up the aperature.

Thanks vamp, I am sure my camera can't do that but I will go to the store and see what is out there! I wonder if they would let me borrow it for a demo?? I will keep trying! Thanks for the info!
