What do you all think of the these? I have been staring at them on my work bench for so long I dont know if they are even scary, cool, or disturbing anymore. I dont think im done painting either one yet.

I really like the one in the background...the one in front has great teeth, but the features of the face seem to soften the edge to me....just my .02

Thank you. This picture was put together by John from Pumpkinrot. Kinda like a present. At the time, I didn't have the software, so he did it for me.

I really like krough's head with the teeth. I am going to have to steal that idea. It is a hell of a good one.

Thanks for the feedback everyone. I added hair to the teeth guy late last night, he looks better now. I think ill paint his eyes with finger nail polish to get that shiny effect.

Those are the 1 dollar ghoul fangs from walmart. They slip right over the teeth of the underlying skull.

DeathTouch & Krough: Excellent stuff. What methods/blends do you both use for the paper mache?

For paper mache I use 1 part white elmers glue to 2 parts water. The base of most of the ones I do are paper towel, additonal layers are other materials like textured napkins and such. Under the mache I use the 2 piece ACC skulls, they are much lighter than the bucky's and easier to balance on the body (I just ordered 20 more from ACC this morning, im a little crazy). I would be amiss if I did not mention that Pumpkinrot.com has been very helpful with information and inspiration, he is a class act. Deathtouch what is that on the face of the one second from the left? And do you have another picture of it I could see?

Belive it or not it is Latex. I wanted it to look like his face was melting. So, I put a whole bunch of latex on his head. I think I went a little to crazy, because I like the way he looked before I dumped more latex on him. but here is another picture in the day time. I didn't have time to do the bodies so I just winged it. The guy you are talking about is on the left hand side.

The ACC skulls that you are talking about, is that the ones going for 5 bucks?

The skulls im talking about are 5.95 and are model number "CH-S2 2 piece life size skull".
Very nice with the latex.

What is the difference in CH-S2 2? I thought they were all lifesized.

Oh, before I forget. I my wife took one of my skulls and made one herself. She also used a few of the eyes I bought from ACC and a cage I got from Hobby Lobby. This is what she made. She is better than me. That sucks.
