We got our Jason from the Gemmy direct sale (still waiting for our back ordered beheaded bride). It looks like people are beginning to get their back orders as promised to arrive between July and Sept.

He was advertised as being 6 feet tall, but I measured him at full height, he's 6.5 feet tall! He's a very imposing figure standing in my kitchen.

He also has a scarred face (the hockey mask is removable). This year, we'll keep the mask on, next we're probably remove it just for a different take on it.

The prop makes sounds like the shoo-shoo-shoohaa-haa-haa sounds from the movie and his eyes move and arm moves up and down with the sword. I'm really happy with him.

We had a little fun with one pic and placed a Bride of Frankenstein wig on him hehehe. I better put him back in the box and store him away before he gets pissed off at me.

I would give his face a different paintjob, but he looks great!

The body looks realistically proportioned

It's cool looking prop, and "when" it's working, it makes a nice effect. I remember our local Spirit store had a couple of them in last year and both broke withing a week of being on display. Come to think of it, the one outside of Spencers went haywire too. I hope you have good luck with yours, but it just didn't seem like a durable prop.

I dont recall the one at Spirit being that tall last year.

I have a feeling that the display props in the store were broken by kids pulling, tugging, yanking, and possibly dancing with them :)
