If any of you have a $5 Below store near you, I urge you to stop in. They have lots of stuff made by Rubies out. I grabbed a latex/foam filled alien head in a cowl for $5, really nice quality. they also have some great masks. I'll be going back for the old man one with long white hair, and attached latex chest piece. They also have strobe lights, some decent gothic plastic weaponry, wireless bone microphone, voice changers, and more. Even some decent headstones. I was very surprised at the quality of what they are carrying this year.
I also used a 60% off coupon to finally get the fogger I've been drooling over for the last two years at Michaels. It's a small 200 watt fogger in a very small housing. Just perfect for inside a cauldron, or built inside of a prop. At the usual price of $30, it was in no way worth it, but with the coupon it came to $12.99. I'm in heaven................

sweet find vlad!.....I'm stuck shopping at the usual venues or online, as the only thing we have anywhere near here is WAL-MART...lol....but at least I have a couple of decent hardware/lumber suppliers nearby :)

This message made me want to go shopping (quite a feat considering I hate shopping). I ran down to Michael's with my 40% off coupon ...Vlad where the heck did you get that 60% off coupon anyway?.......but not a fog machine to be had. I also went to BigLots...where I bought a 99 cent spot eye light......Iparty where I bought chem lights 2/1 and then, sadly, the Dollar store. The Dollar store is going out of business, I went there to get chem lights and batteries. The owner told me dollar stores are gone; Florida Dollar's have to fold before November or they will lose money (hurricanes and gas prices) and all American Dollar stores will all be gone by next year. I guess they will be replaced by the five dollar stores Vlad mentioned.

My Dollar store was almost empty but I did buy for .50 each.....two ugly witch with warts costumes, and one vampire cape. An elementary school teacher was also buying the left over costumes (for children who had parents that were poor or didn't' care she said). She was bummed about the witches costumes.....most little girls want to be pretty or sexy witches... not old hags with warts. I must have been a weird kid, my mother wanted me to be a ballerina ....I wanted to be an ugly old hag with warts, go figure.

Anyway any of you with dollar stores around? Go stock up.

Now you went and did it PG, you got me talking Halloween shopping again, lol...... So I went back to $5 Below and bought that Rubies mask, and also another one of a haunted miner with long gray beard and braided hair. I also picked up the bone microphone. I didn't buy the voice changer, because the bone microphone has voice changing capabilities. But.....then........way in the back behind the headstones......hidden....were the gargoyle door knockers with LED eyes....it was love at first sight. I was only going to buy one, but there were two of them there, and Black Cat made it clear to me that when it comes to knockers, you're always better off with two. So I got them both.
