My front walkway is done and I have a HUGE back yard to work with. I don't have any tables or folding chairs, so if we need those I'd need somebody to bring them.

Prop latex can be purchased through bodybagging.com or screamlinestudios.com, but I'm not sure it will come in on time. I have a couple of gallons of Screamline latex left, so if you can't get your own you can buy some from me. I'll only charge what I paid.

I was having a really hard time finding the cotton batting that I used to use for corpsing. Everything was poly this or poly that! Well, the polly doesn't work well with corpsing. I couldn't find any low loft stuff that was as good as I had. However, I did find some thin stuff that I can peel the poly lining from. If you go to Michaels, get this stuff:

I usually zip tie the joints to keep them stronger, it took me half a bottle to corpse my budget bart

That's plenty of latex for one corpse.

No other prep work needed. We'll hide all the hardware with latex.

You can use stain or latex paint. I like to mix some latex paint right in with the latex so I have a base color from the start.

I usually use exterior latex. The brand doesn't matter. As far as the color, pick the color you want. I tend to stick with grays and browns or something in between. Just look for a real crappy color.

Yes indeed! It's a haunter's best friend. I always rummage through the store's pile of returned and mistinted paints first because you can save a ton of $$ if you can find a color you can work with there.

I only use acrylic paints to tint my latex paints. The problem with acrylic is that the latex is flexible when dry. Acrylic paint is not usually flexible. It's fine if you mix it with the latex paint though.

I picked up latex today because I had to go to AC Moore's. I found Cotton Batting at Joanne's fabric because AC's didn't have it. I got paint at Home Depot and chip brushes, I ordered a blucky, so I think I'm all set.

We started at Noon, finished the props around 4, and then BBQ'd and hung out until about 9? 10? I don't remember what time everybody left. I had long since taken my watch off as it was getting covered in latex and paint.

I posted the pics I had to my profile, the video's were a 'tad' large (30-50mb ea), so I was going to convert them to smaller size and was going to put them up on my photobucket page. I'll post that link once I'm done. (sorry Pyro, but all the Fire pics are videos...so you'll have to wait a little longer !) I also want to thank April for putting up with us, especially when the 'walking the shed' started - LOL. I have to run out now to try to locate some Double-Expresso Vodka, that was definately some 'good schtuff' !
