Used my coupon and bought a styrofoam cutter. This is the first time I have seen one of these in the store, what I have seen before has been the battery powered device that is extremely flemsy. Now I need to find and adhesive that I can use with styrofoam, but still cut with this. I want to find a source locally, does anyone know if the 3M Styrofoam spray adhesive works?

I've used the super 77 spray before to stick two pieces together and it works great.

I bought almost that exact same foam burner at Michaels a few weeks ago and I'm wearing it out. You're gonna absolutely LOVE it!

Cool, thanks for the info, I have yet to try it out. I can't justify the more expensive tools and kits because I don't do enough with foam, but I thought this would work great for some of the stuff I actually do, like grave stones, etc.

Did you find it in floral Styrofoam section? I looked but only found the loop kind.

I bought the same thing about a month ago from Michael's. I found the trick is to go very slowly when cutting/melting the foam, otherwise the wand bends. I use the styrofoam glue for putting two pieces together and the foam cutter goes right through it.

yeah, don't bend the wand. Just let the burner do the work. It's slow but you get a beautiful cut. I also noticed that if you try to rush it, you end up with a wavy cut.
In our store, it was just on a speed rack along one of the isles in the front of the store.
