hey all, I have been lurking here for a while and I am truly humbled by the talent here. I was hesitant to show my first props but here they are:

the pics suck I don't know how to use our camera very well.

dollar store skeleton, thrift store sconce, real candles drilled out with dollar store flicker LED's set inside

first tombstone, I am still working on the bottom.
I can't find the blue or pink foam around here so I have to use the white
I am not really happy with this, I want the same general look but cleaner I guess, any suggestions on how to save this one?

one month ago I didn't even know what dry brushing was. Now I want to dry brush everything. I have learned tons from all of you, so thanks for unknowingly inspiring me!

That tombstone has a nice T. burton feel to it. Nice work.

There's nothing wrong with those.. I think I may try some of the sconces.. As for the tombstone I really like it the way it is.. But that's just me.. Great Job!!

cool, I guess maybe I should quit trying to "force" create something and just let whatever my style is shine through.

the blue thing with teeth is my scare crow head (Mr. Tickles:devil:) I am working on, it's blue because I ran out of paper and used my shop towels.

thanks again for the replies!

The sconce is SUPER cool, I think I'll have to steal that idea!

thanks for the comments, it's cool to actually get some feed back. It's usually just me out in my garage. Luckily I have a few thousand hours worth of mp3's out there, the misfits...great Halloween prop building music!

the name is from the Invader Zim cartoon, incredible cartoon. You guys prolly would love it. It's pretty twisted.

thanks again

The sconce and the tombstone are both really great! I love the shape of the tombstone - very original.

I think you're right - the tombstone is awful - I think you should give it to me (heeeheee). seriously - excellent work. I wouldn't change a thing.
