Hey there!
I'm new to the board, but have been holding an annual halloween party for friends and family for about 7 years. I was lucky enough to end up finding this site this year and it's just been great. You all seem like a great group.
Anyway, here is a pic of something I started last year. It's a scale up of the pvc frame found on lots of halloween sites. I just increased the diameter of the pvc pieces and turned the "size" knob to 11... I happened across this HUGE skeleton head and lucked into some large black cloth and thought..hmmmm...Here is the body. I've put several 5 1/2 feet tall pvc bodies next to it for scale (I guess the house does that too).

Next I'll post some pictures of my Welcome sign and my newest build (from here!) the haunted signpost.

Wow, that thing is huuuuge! I'd be interested to see it all dressed up and put out in your yard. There are going to be some really nervous kids in your neighborhood this year...

Welcome pyxl! Glad you joined us. It's a good group of folks here.

That's a great armature. What diameter PVC did you use for the big guy?

OMG! That thing is monstruous! When it's all dressed up, it'll put the Frankenbucky to shame.

He would be really good playing for the Bulls as center.

Most cool,
Looks like 1 1/2 in. PVC with sink drain "J" bends at the shoulders. A great entery guardian for you haunt. You just have to wire this guy for sound.

Nice and huge!. Man if you could fit Faux Flames in each hand with long spindely skeleton fingers. that would rock as an entryway. can't wait to see what you do with it.

Yeah, I'm thinking about replacing the skeleton gloves with home-made "skeleton hands"...all the better to hold the scythe. I put him up next to the food tent this year. My "haunt" is actually a big halloween party I throw every year for friends and co-workers. I think I'll have it all set up this weekend, so I'll get some pics up then. Lots to do and time keeps on slippin slippin slippin...
