I may run into a problem this year and i need some advice. The problem is it has rained the last 4 evenings and i need some advice on water proofing props. This question may sound wierd to some of you but where i am in Alberta rain on halloween is something new usually we have snow by now. All my props are ready for cold and snow but I guess I should be ready for rain this year just in case so any advice would be great. For example with extension cords and such.
thanks happy haunting coffin_creature

for any electrical connections that might get wet, I like to at the very least, put a few wraps of electrical tape over 'em, and then put a thin layer of silicone over it......I also seal up anything that I'm remotely worried about in the wet stuff with silicone.

If your props can handle snow, rain should not be to much of a problem. Clear coat anything that might run or smear and a plastic bag and duct tape ( or duck tape) should protect most of the electric plugs. Silicon ( or dow chauk) on wire nut conections or bare wires.
If it snows on me this year I will take the easy way out and shoot my self. ( I'm in mid-Michigan so I am looking for a cool pleasant evening and no wind)
