Would anyone actually use a walkthrough for something like that?
For the most part I have no idea what the end prop will be as I create it.
I do take a lot of photos though, so I could make a walkthrough if anyone was interested..

That thing is great. I think the hands are fantastic. I can appreciate the labor involved. I spent half the day working on a pumpkin scarecrow..and I think I'm basically starting over tomorrow. It ain't easy as it looks sometimes....

Nice work.

The hands are bucky hands, I order them by the 10's. For these I took a small 3inch x .5 inch triangle of thin cardboard (found it in the recycle bin) and taped it to the tip of each finger, I wanted them long and pointy like knives maybe. I then covered each finger with beige masking tape and made sure it was nice and tight, like a skin. I then painted them black, then white, then antique white. I recently did another set where I used drip irrigation line to extend the fingers, since its curved it makes them a bit different, here is a pic of that hand

ok with the hands explained, I think I would just need to see all the pics of the head of the first dummy at the top of this thread. I wanna make him for my crypt this year :D

I of course forgot to take progress photos of that particular head.
Here are the details:
teeth= 1$ ghoul fangs from WalMart
eyes= a cut up ping pong ball
hair= old wig hair hot glued to head
the skull is a lightweight skull from ACC, it was covered with clear tape to form a skin, so the mache wouldnt just follow the bone contour and then I applied paper towel mache to that.
painting=black base coat of latex exterior paint, then poly, then antique white with toffee highlights. eye paint is black gloss enamel

here is a head closeup
