stupid picture limit.

EDIT:

It should also be said that these tombstones were made using Keeba's Tombstone process:
Keeba's Tombstones (http://www.hedstorm.net/HAUNT/instructions/tombstones/index.html)

I didn't do the wet or dry warping because I'm a big chicken, I wasn't going to do the black sprypaint + hose thing either but I got talked into it and I'm glad I did, they look very good I think. These are the first tombstones I have ever made that weren't cheapo wood and spraypaint :D After all this, I don't know if I have it in me to make a styrofoam facade for the fogchiller that will be up behind dinah's tombstone...

The backgrounds went really fast actually, all carving was done with a woodburner attached to a dimmer switch. high dimming for low temperature to caver the words or design. then crank it up to full blast heat and the background melts very fast :D

The stones look great. Nice detail work. Gotta love the dimmer switch. It works great when you really need to crank up the temp to melt the styro quickly.

Great tombstones Shaunathan, I wish I had the time this year to make some that look that good.

where can a guy find the schematics to make one of those...I've been using soldering tools, and it's not gone nearly as smooth as I'd like.

a link to keeba's tombstones is on the first or second post. it details how to make these. The woodburner was purchased at michaels, comes in a little kit with a dozen tips, normally it is 30 dollars but michaels has a 40% off coupon.
