What Are These Plants?

I don't remember where I picked up these photos, but these are the coolest looking plants! Does anyone have any idea:
1) what they are?
2) where will they grow?
3) how do I get them?

I could be wrong (and frequently am) but those look like really old Aloe plants judging by the succulent appearing new growth at the tips.

Well if they are aloe plants, then I can have a cool looking haunt AND great looking skin!
