This is my entry for the MacGuyver prop contest. He is a 10 ft tall scare puppet built on a PVC frame. When you look into his eyes you will see his maggot infested rotting brain covered in mucus and neon goo. (Thanks to Haunt Forum user Sickie Ickie for selling me these great UV reactive glue sticks.)
His right arm is movable and has a scream toy embedded in the hand which is triggered by a simple switch in the handle. This way the sound can come closer to the victim, and will have a moving quality instead of being static and at a safe distance from the victim.
Check out the video, it gives the best overall view of the prop.
As for the components I used Plastic Soda Bottles for light weight bulk, and the are held together with Duct Tape. The movable arm is built on a Broom stick with a Hanger wire linkage, with hands at the end made out of armature wire and Twine. I tried using the Hanger wire for the hands, but it's tempering made it too hard for me to bend 10 fingers with my arthritic hands. I think this technique would be great for some scarecrow hands.
