So, who knows how to wire an "rc" servo for direct control(ex. talking skull)?

Not sure what you mean here. You'll need a circuit that converts the audio into a pulse width modulated (PWM) signal that the servo can understand. That's what the Scary Terry audio-servo boards do. What do you have in mind for the skull?

Im more wondering the functions of each wire.
The servos I have, have a white, black and a red wire that go to a plug that would normally go to a reciever.

If it's a Futaba servo Black = neg. Red = pos. White = signal.

Servos can share common grounds and positive hookups. If you have multiple servos you can run CAT5 wire up to 6 servos with it. That's what I use.

If I say, wanted to control on off a switch.......................... any ideas?
