i was working at a property in se georgia today that had an old cemetary next door. some of the dates were from the late 1800's to 1900's. so i thought i would share some of the pics of tombstones i saw there. there were different styles and some really nice aged ones.

Those are great! That shot of the cemetery is awesome. Love to have that as a walk through on Halloween night!

VERY COOL! I'd love to try and emulate that faded lichen growth with paint on my next tombstone. Thanks for the pics.

I like the one in the middle of this shot. Something a little different and would seem very easy to create. Take a current tombstone and add the marble border on the ground with a flower pot at the base.

What the hell is that?; a dead sheep? The pics are great! I'm just trying to figure out whats is the animal ontop of the stone in bottom left pic.

LOL! It does look like a sheep. Wonder what the story is behind that?:confused:

My guess on the sheep is it's a lamb as-in "Lamb of GOD"
