nothing fancy or special really. I found it in a trash can while working.
I tried to patina it, with what I had on hand. It's hanging in my dining room where the usual one goes so ignore the messy fridge with the beer carton on it. I have no idea how I will store all this crap this year. This year I went crazy and it is all of your faults:devil:

thanks, it turned out pretty cool.
I would like to buy a patina kit, so it would look realistic. I get tired of black/gray/white dry brushing everything.
I was thinking more a decoration, since it will not be in the haunt.

It looks really great! Even better once you learn you got it for free ;)

Looks great! I have an old one that was in the attic when we moved in. I was just going to paint it black, but I like this effect better.

That turned out great!

How about for a patina look try dry brushing some green on there?

For sure that's a prop and a mighty fine one too.
As for storage, that seems obvious to me - Just leave that one up!!
At Christmas you could put little santa hats and beards on each skull and you're set!!
Have a SinisterSeason!!

i did dry brush green on there. it was all shiny brass

i wish i had some of those sickie ickie colored glue sticks for the melted wax. i don't like the clear but am far to lazy to paint.

Just AWESOME! I love it. I need one of those to replace my crappy brass hanging dining room lamp.
