Hello everyone.

The name's Thommy,pronounced Tommy.

We just found this forum earlier today and I decided to join up.

We are putting together a haunt for my Cub Scout Pack,and we are incorporating the names of the Dens,Tiger,Wolf,Bear,and Webelo.

So here is the lil backstory we have on our flyer's for it:
"Samhain,the Halloween spirit,has taken over Wolfbane Manor and the near-by camp.

Dr. Bear and his wife reside in this now possessed estate with their children.The camp has been turned into Jason Voorhee's personal revenge.

Can you handle this twisted nightmare of.........
HALLOWEEN FOREVER!!!!!!!!!?????????"

So,as you can guess the name of the haunt is Wolfbane Manor.

We're exhausted all of our funds and are now flying by the seat of our pants and having to do things on a very non-existent budget.

I'm gonna be spending a fair bit of time on here at night while I work on my haunt.

Next year we are going bigger and better.

In fact I just came inside from working on my all wood toe pincher coffin.It came out good,a lil crooked at the top but it adds to that overall creep factor.

Exactly.

We're due to open on Oct 23rd,but we still have alot to do to be ready.I'm confident however that we will get it done,if not then it's like you said there's always next year.

It was like I was saying over on Florida Haunters Forum,as soon as I get some fresh batteries for my cam I will post alot of pics.

Welcome to the forum Thommy. i was a Cubmaster for 4 years, Scoutmaster now for another 4, I fondly remember the days with the little guys, tons of fun. Great to have you here!

Vlad,I'm having alot of fun doing the projects with them.Our pack just started so we've only done 1 campout so far.

I remember the time I did the haunted trail/campout. None of the dad volunteers showed, and I wound up setting it all up myself, groan. But the kids loved it and you might want to try it.
