Materials:
2 sticks and several vines=free from my yard
4 walmart bags = free
news paper= free
2 rolls of duck tape=$4.24
paint (prorated)=$3.01
carpet latex glue=$6.28
1 white sheet (GoodWill)=$1.06
2 rolls of paper towel=$2.12
wire=$.99
total
$17.70
To make the pumpkins. I stuffed the walmart bags with news paper. Then duck tape them. Do at least 3 layers alternating between horizontal and vertical. Once you have the correct size shape and firmness you may begin to make the faces. Dip the paper towel into the carpet latex glue. Build up the areas for the eyes and mouth. The more you build it up the deeper it looks. I always paint it right away to give it a wet glossy look as the glue dries. Next I took my dollar sheet and sowed it into a rough grim reaper cloak. Dipped it in brown paint and added stain. To make the bones(ribs) of the Gaurdian I took fresh sticks(not dead) and bent them. I secured them with wire to a stick backbone and painted white. I took an 8 foot stick and placed it in the ground. wired it all to attach and all done.
