Goodwill! There's a store location near where I live(Northridge, CA) and I just found a lot of great stuff (small detail items) that would be great for witch or demented doctor scenes. I totaled everything up that I'd found and it came to under $20. What else is great about finding stuff here is that there is no sales tax. (I wish there was no sales tax period, or rather have the tax figured into the price automatically, but I digress...)

With the current economic problems that a lot of us will probably endure:mad:, it's important to look for solutions in the most unlikely places.

sorry, I found the stuff while waiting for my weight watchers meeting (lost 4 pounds!). Also I can't figure how to upload images. I think I need a photobucket account, not sure...

A photobucket account is the easiest way to go or you can create an album in your profile and upload the images there.

create an album in my profile... hmmm... ok, I'll look for it. Also have to find a disposable (read extremely cheap) camera that will allow me to download my pics via usb. Maybe I'll borrow my parents' camera... hmmm...

I love shopping at the thrift stores. We have a store called Waterfront Mission in which I frequently find good bargains. I posted lots of my pictures already under "my feeble finds". But I get dolls, bottles, jars, boxes, clothes for props, etc really cheap.
