I too am awaiting the big 2008 DVD. Poor Dave has been working like a mad man putting in lots of weekend time. He hasn't had much time to work on his own props, but he did tell me he was more than half way through editing the DVD.

I want one too as soon as it is available. I just recently bought the other 2 and cant wait to get the next one. Also halloween prop master has haunt dvd's that stretch back to 1999, and they have hours and hours of excellent pro and yard haunters stuff on them. I have every single one and they are great.Pick them up.

I'm working on it this weekend. I am well into disc 2 right now and anticipate starting in on disc 3 either late today or some evening this week.

Once I have all the content strung together, I'll post the pre-order information. Pre-order usually runs for about 2 weeks and if you pre-order, you get the disc at a discount off of it's regular price. I typically work on the menu system and extras during this time so it's all set to go to press once all is said and done.

I do apologize for the tardiness of it this year. My day job has been chaotic (to say the least) with downsizing which has put more of a workload on me than I am accustomed to.

I am more than half done with disc 2 now, and expect to keep working at it until about 9:00 tonight. That may get me to the end of disc 2.

Wow! Sounds like a huge undertaking this year! If it keeps growing maybe next year you can look at having some people help out while you oversee the final cut?

HOLY COW... that's big.

kinda be a bummer to miss the extras... What if the extras were on a 4th disc and people could have the option of buying the 3-disc regular set or the 4-disc deluxe? I guess maybe that'd just be extra hassle for you... but it does kinda blow having success come back and bite ya.

The extras are usually behind the scene photos or videos or extra material that didn't get added on the first 2 discs.

The extras are usually behind the scenes stuff, prop how-tos, videos or photos from gatherings, basically it's anything that isn't haunt photos.

As for the fourth disc being optional, that does add a bit of hassle for me in the duplicating process. Pricing on the set is based on how many discs I order.

I'm pretty sure I can get it all to fit. I may be able to get away with compressing the video a little and make it so a little more content gets onto each disc. I won't do it if it's at the expense of quality though.

I got eight out of the twelve videos for disc 3 processed tonight. Four more tomorrow and then on to the extras. I should be able to finish stringing it all together this week. I'll likely announce the pre-order period either this weekend or on Monday of next week.

I will be working on the menu system for the discs during the pre-order phase and once both of those are done, I will place the order with the duplication house.

Also expect me to announce pre-orders on this year's t-shirts the same week! I will be selling both the DVD and the Tees at the same time this year to help everyone save money on shipping by not ordering both items at different times of the year.

Pre-order, yes there will be larger sizes... not sure about 4X right now but I think I can get them. After the pre-order, the largest size I'll have in stock is 2XL.

Finally got a quote in from one of the dupe houses I queried. I have a few other quotes to wait on and will see if I can levy a better price out of one of these places that guarantees they'll beat any competitor's quote. :)

I still need to finish the menu systems. The pricing should be determined today or tomorrow and I will start listing them for sale as soon as that happens. :)
