Looks like a good start. Are you building with a foam skull base underneath?

I wish I had a good source for reasonably priced, realistic, acrylic eyes.

Yes, using a foam skull base. You can easily make your own. Just buy the eye blanks from Monsterguts.com and use this tuturial, http://www.hauntershangout.com/home/easyeyes.asp, its super easy and the eyes come out lookign great. I did a white wash over my eyes, to give it that dead look.

The eyes definitely have it on this one - the white wash is a perfect touch.

yep looks great and the eyes are terrific. Do you do the white wash on the eyes with just watered down white paint?

The skull stands alone, even without the rest of the groundbreaker. Excellent work. I got some eyeball blank from Monster Guts too. They are really cheap. I'm surprised more people don't use them. I bet they will now that they've seen your prop.

Yes. The one thing I did do was, if you look at the tutorial for making the eyes, After I white washed it I went over it with a coat of epoxy. So that way you dont lose the shineyness of the eyeball.

Yeah the eye blanks is super easy. One thing I did do was i used red yarn strands to make the veins. The way that they make artificial eyes for people. I did that on another set of eyes I made. i think everyone should just buy the blanks and try it out. Makes great looking eyes.
