Hey guys i haven't posted much of what I have been working on but will have some photos up soon. I am having a issue in finding liquid latex where I am from. I really am looking for the 3/5 gallon pals so that I have enough. Also I have been playing around with M.Mud and was wondering what brand u guys use from home depot cause up here we don't always have the 5 gallon pale's and I wasn't sure what the mix ratio should be....

Michael's has liquid latex, but not the size you are looking for. It is a small jar. I believe other craft stores carry it as well but again I have not found a large quantity of it. It is also pretty expensive at Michael's, so I use my coupons when I need to buy it.

the latex from Micheal's is over priced and not as high quality as sculpture supply. speaking from experience. that goes for the plaster as well. although smooth on products are a bit more expensive, you won't be disappointed in the products. its what we use at work, for museums and other displays. if you can afford it and are able to buy it then i would recommend it. but its understandable where you are living what you have available to you. there are other ways of getting the same look for cheaper, depending on how much you would or can spend on a prop.

I get mine from Monster makers in the US, I buy it in 5 gal buckets ($139.95). I use a company in the US that accepts the delivery ($8 per item and it's held for a week) then pop over the border to pick it up myself, saves a fortune on shipping, and it's about $22 at customs to bring it through.
