I actually don't know anyone named Fred, sorry.

Just wanted to pop in and intruduce myself. My name is Chad Scharf, one of the organizers of The Halloween Expo here in Denver, CO, which some of you may, or may not have heard about.

This is the first year my wife Joey and I have attempted something like this and would like to get started on the right foot. As of right now, we would like some of the industry's feedback on better dates for this event next year as we seemed to have missed the mark for most of you in the haunt industry and picked probably the worst possible weekend to hold the event this year, exluding many of your from attending.

Any advice or suggestions on dates for next year would be helpful. We're definately always open to suggestions and ideas from the community at large. We were thinking Sept 24-26.

Welcome.

I think for serious haunters, Sept is kind of late. Everybody is working hard by the end of Sept to start setting up in Oct.

Good luck with your haunt endeavors.

Yeah, early summer is about as close as you can get to October without taking precious time away.

And Welcome!
