For those who can't, for one reason or another, run power cords out to their props, may I suggest using batteries like a car battery.
I will be making the unpowered prop that I shared on another thread (the one with the moving fingers) for ghost train. However, the graveyard in which it will be in doesn't get much windflow, so I will be using a battery powered fan behind it. This will also allow me to move the prop to wherever I want without worry.
