Ideas wanted: Homemade Body Sling?

I am planning to do a haunted Auto Shop for my haunt this year and had an idea to have a "body" impaled by a hook hanging from an engine hoist. I want to make a body sling that will comfortably support a 150-200 lbs. actor using thin wire cables that (hopefully) wont be seen in the lighting that I plan to use. I was thinking of modifying a nylon webbed tailgait net. Any suggestions? Any other suggestions for my "Chop-Shop" would be appreciated.

have you thought of a harness say for a forktruck (picker) opperator, when i drove one we had a body harness in case you fell off. it went thru the legs around the back and over the shoulders, then clipped in the front. i say kinda like a parashooter would ware. you can get strapping stuff at like well here, farm and fleet, but a store like that. if you sew it shouldn't be to hard to put together.

Thanks for the idea. I had not considered that. That would be an easy way to suspend a body!
