I just placed an order with Marilyn at ACC. The transworld sale prices are on right now.
Some pretty good deals. Including Franken Bucky for a VERY low special price in limited quantities.
Just an FYI

I was just talking about this in another thread. What kind of deals is Marilyn giving out? I know she told me that it might be more due to the gas prices and that you might not see the really good prices as before. I was planning on buying at Transworld, but who knows. I might change my mind.

I moved it so now it isn't in the wrong place. I think this belongs here... I posted the same thread months ago when they were down to $50.

Bad boy Krough,
What are we going to do with you? lol
Jeff
I guess he'll have to eat Krough, lol.
There was a post on Horrorfind about someone who bought a Franken bucky for I believe $135. Something about it being made of a different kind of plastic and discontinued, I'll have to go back and re-read it. The big question, is how much for a Bucky?

I think we should hang krough from a tree and make him recite quotes from the movie "Grumpier old men." Mostly from the really old guy, the one who played in Rockie. If that don't make krough post in the right place, then I think we give him 50 lashes with a wet noodle. LOL. That always works.

Large bag, budget skull, pair of arms, pair of legs, pair of feet. Some of the latter pieces may find their way into a single prop. The legs might repair one of my buckies. :)

Cool Cool,
I think Im going to buy a Bucky Skeleton, a large Bag of Bones, and a Mr. Thrifty
I'm still unhappy that the bags of bones are regulated as to contents now. I liked the old random assortments. And I see everything has indeed gone up in price, but dealing with Marilyn and ACC is worth the cost.

Yeah, but it's also understandable as to why they'd do it. I don't mind so much. I only included one budget skull in my order since I know there will be one in the large bag too. Combine that with some more ribs, etc, and my collapsed skeleton amongst the graves will be a little more robust. :)
Actually, the only reason that I can see that they'd do it, is because they manufacture them specifically for low end sales. If they actually were all rejects, they'd be silly to throw away all of the other bones not now included in the standard issue bag of bones. Others on another forum say that it's clear that first quality bones and skellies are actually made from a different grade of thermoplastic, which would fit the same reasoning.

I talked to Marilyn today about the sales. I asked her if she was going to Transworld in March. She told me she is going to be there. So I am going to do all my shopping with her. Right after FE buys me a hot dog and beer.

Usually it's that time of year that ACC has its $50 bucky sale every year. I'm hoping something like that comes up at or just after TW again.
