In reworking Casilda from last year I've decided to convert her into an entirely new character.
I had so much fun doing the lifecast at the MA MnT that I wanted to put the head on a prop to see what it looked like. The best candidate at the time was Casilda. So after swapping the head an changing out the wardrobe I found I actually liked the way it looked.
So now introducing Cassaryaz the Sorcerer.

Don't know about the name but I like the movement on this one. The lighting seems a bit off, looks like to much yellow on that vid. Get a still picture if possible. I guess now terror will be making lots of head casts for props. I love the scared eye on the left side. much creepier when you see it in front of you. :)

Cool!
I saw the time lapse vid on GoE, and it looked like you guys made the mold with alginate, but what did you cast the head in?

Chicken, outer skinned in silicon and filled with 2 part foam.
Kaoru, it was late when I shot the vid and the yellow light was all I had downstairs at the time. Wanna try blue and green to see how it will look in the display.

Chicken, more details on what we used can be found here in the MA MnT Sept.09 thread (http://hauntforum.com/showpost.php?p=352062&postcount=129).

He looks great - sad and scary at the same time.

I definitely want to try some life casting...nice job.
I think I'm dyslexic or something, but when I look at the name I initially read it as crazya--...lol.

LMAO - Unintentional but not surprising. There was a study done that the brain only keys off the first and last letter in a word. The letters in between can be in any order and the brain will understand the word. I'll have to find the example and post it over in Off-Topic.

Yeah I have that saved somewhere. Actually I thought maybe it was intentional.
