Above is my new workbench its 8 feet long and 30 inches deep. I just built it a few weeks ago.

above is both sides of the shop. Its much larger than it looks, the space between the benches is a little shy of 5 feet, unfortunately the house is old and the headroom in this area of the basement is about 6' (luckily im short).
If you can post a picture of where you create your stuff, im interested to see how other folks lay out their shops.

HA! My bench has ATX powersupplies all over too...I'll post a pic soon. Funny, how similar our workspaces are. Mine has no bucky's, but props are stored in rubbermaid bins. My prop heads are sitting on my bench too.

krough, what are those legs on your new workbench? Are they part of some kind of workbench building kit? I'd like to build a new larger workbench so I am looking at what is out there.

I got em for christmas this year from the wife.
They seem to be very sturdy and not too expensive.

Hey, I've seen their shelf units at Lowes. They probably have the workbench ones too. I'll take a look next time I'm there. Thanks.

Looks cool. I have a three car garage but have so much crap that I get to leave my car outside when I want to work, I use some folding tables that I have to put away when I want to put my truck in. My truck stays outside a lot :D Attached 2 pictures. One you can see my set up, the other is a picture of my FCG but the picture is to see the partially dug out room under my living room where I store stuff. It is going to be my Star Wars/ Halloween prop room.
