Hacking a sound operated skull

Here's a pix of the sound operated skull I'm hacking to use for a different prop. This looks WAY TOO CONFUSING to duplicate or remove to put into a different prop. Any suggestions? The eyes flash and it makes sounds and shakes a little. I'm hacking it because it's about 9 yrs old and I'm bored with it!

Not that I can help, but what do you want it to do when your done?

I'd like to hide it in a large lightweight skull prop hiding in the bushes near my pond so when someone passes by it lights up and makes the noises. After thinking about it a bit more, I think I'll just put the original skull inside the new one near the eye socket so it can be triggered as usual. I'll just have to conceal it well. Will post pix when complete.
