Hi all,
Has anyone been having recent issues with HF not remembering your login data? The login cookie is being dropped on my drive, but I have to re-enter my user name and p-word whenever I come back to the site. If the problem is not with the HF cookie, any advice on what I need to change in IE to fix this? Thanks!

I haven't had an issue. What version of IE are you using?

Hi Haunti,
IE 7.0

I'd suggest going to Internet Options/Privacy, and resetting it back to default. Which should set to Medium. You can see at that point what your basic cookie settings are set for.
Have you recently reset a network path or anything for your user profile?
Btw...I'm a bit annoyed. I came to this thread expecting some kind of cookie give away or bake sale.

No changes to IE cookie settings, but I just ran a scan and found the Bankinfostealr virus. It's gone now, so maybe that's why the cookies were being hijacked.
After testing: yep, that was it. The bug must have been looking for financial site passwords and grabbed every cookie it saw.

I usually grab every cookie, too. Especially the ones with frosting of some sort.

Damn! I jumped on this thread ready to order some.
So what would a HF cookie look like? The haunted house would be cool, but that center spire would break off easily... ZF's leaning glowy coffin would make a good cookie. You could use green confectioners sugar to make the glow.... dang. I need to go to bed. It's late and I clearly have the munchies... willpower... willpower...

Otaku, you should probably go change all your passwords for sites you've visited since the problem started
Ugh, I can see Z now having all the mods going door to door selling Haunt Forum cookies.

If your password got swiped, how do we know you're the real Otaku? I guess we shouldn't trust any HF cookies you bake. :)

I thought you were selling Hautforum Cookies. Was expecting to see cookies with HF on them with the wolf howling at the moon. Now I am hungry!

..would the additon of a HauntForum beret and badge-sash add to the uniform?? The mods have earned MANY badges: corpsing, wiper motors, making sure all the members take their meds....
