We scored 18 ten foot sections of roller conveyor as a freebie from a local factory where one of our build team members works. This stuff is tremendously cool, but I am not immediately thinking of any really cool ideas to use it. Obviously, some sort of sliding room, slide, etc. comes to mind, but nothing that would be really neat and not lead to injuries has come to mind...anyone got any ideas?

Maybe you could use it as a track for a moving prop? If these are anything like the ones I've seen, they're pretty loud when something's rolling across them. Maybe you could power something across them quickly off to the side in a room, and use the sound and motion together for a quick scare?

Need some drum motors(i belive thats what they are called thats what we called em anyway). and a belt and the noise thing same thing i worked in factory shipping docks for years and yes those suckers can get loud! if you do go the belt route listen under neath the rollers there will be some holes for just a few rollers down the line thats where the belt goes and spin on which makes the top rollers spin......i hope that was understandable......if there are no holes its not made for the belt drive (push by hand after leavs belt drive "manualy labor there" hehe ) if there are no holes works as just a coaster type of thing you push they slide. p.s when i said belt i meant conveyer (sp) belt could use a belt all across the rollers also if those holes dont exist

Ok, let's up the ante in terms of creativity...I also just scored five sets of theater seats from a generous soul today, for extra points, combine these two items into a scene or room effect.

Now you're pushing it! ;)
...No, in all seriousness, I'll have to give that some thought. There's always the possibility of leaving the row intact and setting up a theatre scene with the track scare worked in, but that's the easy way out. If you had enough of the roller tracks, you could disassemble the theatre seats from their rows and attach them to cars and do a dark-ride "doom buggy" sort of deal with them.

Mount the seats to a belt on the rollers!..You could have the worlds fastest haunt..really zip em through! Actually, if you move them slow, you could have a mini type dark ride..they roll along throughout your haunt.

I would mount them to my roof and ride down on those chairs. YEEEHHAAA.
Or how about a moving room. a big box with one door. people enter the room through the door. while they are looking for another door slide the room over so it connects to a different part of the haunt. so when they try to backtrack they find themselves someplace unexpected.
