For some reason I'm not allowed to post eBay links - it contravenes forum rules?
Anyway, there is a handy single channel remote control relay unit - search for this exact phrase:
Mult-Function 3mode 1Ch 1 CH RF Wireless Remote Control
Might be handy for triggering props.
And for those sorting out their own LED spots, a nifty RGB LED controller - again search for this exact phrase:
4A Wireless RGB LED Controller w/ 6 Key Remote Control
Hope these are of help to someone.

Seems like I have seen stuff from Ebay here before. But then I have never read the rules either.

The issue with eBay has actually been under some discussion among the mods and admin. There are a couple rules that may apply, as follows. Please note this is my interpretation of the rules - ZombieF would have final say.
No advertising, spamming, or soliciting of any kind in any threads or messages (general rules) - There are eBay-based businesses, and the link might be considered a type of advertisement if the member owns such a business.
Paypal and affiliate links are NOT permitted (signature rules) - eBay owns the Paypal payment system.
The current feeling is that, if the link is to simply to show an example, it will probably be okay.

ebay links are fine to show something neat you found and want to share. They are not fine if you're posting to spike your bids or to try and sell something from ebay in our marketplace. Posts to the marketplace forums are meant to be direct peer-to-peer sales.

Yes but I got asked not to post eBay links before when I found items that might be of use. And I was wondering why I was singled out when I have seen other eBay links on here.
I do not sell on eBay (or anywhere) nor am I affiliated with any of the sellers. I just provide examples of useful things I have found.
I understand that sponsors might not want such links but if they do not even sell similar products then why the restriction? Not arguing just curious. I completely agree with the no advertising, spamming etc rule.
