The Punisher

The wife and I saw it yesterday, and it wasn't too bad. It was kinda like the Spider-Man flick, in that he doesn't really come to grips with being "The Punisher" until the end. I thought it could have been a little darker and had much more excessive violence (I mean, it's the PUNISHER). But it definitely had it's moments. It also had a lot more humor than I expected. Dave and Bumpo are a riot. The Russian kicked some major ass too, but he didn't die right. Not like the comic, anyway.

I recommend The Punisher. It could've been a lot worse.

How was Travolta? I hear him in the radio ads and cringe.

I loved this movie myself and I have been reading the comics for 15 years. Travolta was actually pretty good in the film. Thomas Jane is the real star of the Movie..he was Frank Castle ...completely owned the part! I have seen this film 7 times now and can't wait for part 2...the director said now that the origin is out of the way the next one will be a blood bath :D
