Oh that would be great for a popup demon baby..I thought the pop up corpse in the video was mismatched.

Yeah, I am thinkin' a really twisted baby..maybe, since it's based on the skelerector mechanism...a nice normal looking baby on top that turns into a demon baby when it pops out..
'72 Caddy Hearse...gotta get it lettered up here soon for the haunt.

No, it's more like, "Alright, what the hell is Brett doing now"...I am trying to wear them down.. :D
I am thinking the biggest challenge with this prop will be building the popup mechanism into the carriage without creating so much weight that I have to do something strange with the frame and wheels...I want it to look like a normal carriage..just have a trigger on the handle that will cause the baby to spring out at the victim.
The Scarefactory prop I am basing it on is not really a carriage at all and doesn't appear to even roll..it's just a steel frame with wheels bolted on for appearance..

Anyone got any pointers for me? Maybe try to use aluminum to keep weight down.

You should build the one in the pic an exact replica and also have the carriage you found, so one pops and one doesnt and the anticipation will be crazy for people. You dont want to mess with the delicate nature of that carriage. It looks amazing on its own with the rust and satin falling off. I think you should leave it and put a nice ... demon baby in it.

I guess I'm a bit behind reading all this stuff, but I'm also wondering what you did with this carriage. I got one last year from a neighbor and just redid the whole inside and took the crpty kids for a walk in it while patroling the ooutside of the haunt last year. I also kept the candy in it so that the kids had to come up to me. Well, that reason and the actors that I was using to hand it out were eating more of it than they were giving away! Last year I went to the local Six Flags park and they had a carriage with the pop up that they were pushing around the park. It scared the crap out of alot of people that didn't know what to expect. I can't wait to see your pics.
