From the 1x4x36 cut two by 7 Ύ inches, Screw the two pieces of the together and
Cut then at an angle from 4” to 2”, Cut a piece 9” by 2”and 9” x 4”
Cut a piece 1” by ½ by 4”
From a piece of scrape plywood cut an 8” by 8”
Now assemble box with the pieces your have cut
Cut two pieces of metal ½ “ X 1 & Ύ “ for motor cam and one by 3” for the connecting rod
Place motor on side of box and secure it with three screws. Screw the metal ½ “ X 1 X Ύ “cam to motor. Attached the 3” connecting rod to the end for cam (adjust motor so that the cam dose not hit bottom or side)
Place plywood on top of table, then place box on top, square the box and mark center.
Then screw your 1” by 1” hinge to plywood. Get your 1”by ½ “ by 4” piece of wood and alien with the motor follower and secured in place Move cam and connecting rod and find best movement and attached connecting rod to 1” by ½ by 4” pieces.
Get your 1" thick insulation foam and make your tombstone. Paint and attached to of plywood.
Then cut the shape you want to make it looked like the tombstone cracked and fell.
Make body from 3 bread bags and shape to make chest and arm, cut hole for PVC pipe for head
Use your 1" thick insulation foam make hands and cut finger off and rolled then in newspaper and cut V at joints and placed in latex gloves and put a wire in each finger, (For molding hand to tombstone).
Place body form in a shirt (for shirt I wetted the shirt and buried in a clay soil) and attach hands and head, Placed a light inside of head and run your prop and adjust to your liking.

Nice job! Everyone always needs a broken tombstone in their cemetery. I feel sorry for the person that broke it because that corpse looks pissed off!

Works fine, Abner:) The movement really adds to the piece. It's smooth and subtle, just the type of movement that makes people look twice in a haunt.

Great concept, never thought about having broken tombstones in my display...will have to "borrow" that idea...the movement is icing on the cake.
