Here's a link to something I tried 2 years ago. I can't get consistent tech on it though. I tried an electric drill and a 12 inch sweep drill, bit to bit. Using the sweep part attached to bungy cords/ to the tree as the shake. There was too much torque and the set up tended to fall apart an hour into the evening. Sensors worked ok though. I tend to have to play the video a couple of time..

Why not a simple motor and a cam, on the end of the cam have a rope that is tied to the tree branches. I do alot of tree scares mostly I use ropes that run to an actor who pulls the rope (as a distraction before his main scare). I have also used thumper massagers zip tied to branches on a motion sensor.

Got a window box fan that blades have gone off of. I'll see what I can come up with. thx.
