Mr R.B. (Really Burnt) Crispy made a deal with a mysterious stranger to jump start his singing career but unfortunately he fell down, down, down into a burning ring of fire before he could make good on his promise to pay back his debt to the mysterious stranger and now he has to serve as a greeter to the underworld -constantly beckoning foolish souls to enter his master’s domain!

Wheew! Just made it in under the wire!
I was coming along nicely on this and had plenty of time, then things blew up at work and my free time went to zero, missed a couple of weekends of working on it due to family obligations ect and suddenly it was 2 days before the deadline and I was still only ˝ done! Some things are a bit sloppy, and I didn’t have the time for fine-tuning like I would have liked, but all in all Mr Crispy turned out rather well.
I will be updating my “Bio hazard zombie” thread with more progress pictures once I post here.

I already commented in your progress thread, but I'll say it again - this is a beautiful prop and the beckoning finger really adds to its ambience:)

Mr. Crispy is right...the internal lighting looks great, I can see that technique becoming very popular. The teeth made from coat hangers is genius!

Very unique idea, it really does look like it's slowly burning inside. Very nice, and thanks for all the progress pictures.

That is cool, he just screams (UN)-welcome, without saying a word. His internal glow looks very good. Nice work!

Glad you like it, I had so much fun making him, can't wait to start my next project!

Not really sure why some of my youtube links aren't showing up? But that's ok. :)

Wasn't sure if I should post all the progress pics I have in here or not
so here is a link to where I've been posting in the general prop discussion area:

I too love the glow of embers as organs burn. and the coat hanger teeth are simplistic genius. perhaps a heat gun to singe them a little?

And special thanks to everyone that voted for Mr Crispy! :smileton:
Wasn't expecting to do so well in the voting since this was one of my first real attempts at a full sized prop... I'm very flattered!
Thanks! :)
