Has anyone else seen this video? http://home-fires.com/bluemarble/PAGES/HALLOWEEN/rick2000.ram

I can't believe how many bluckies this guy has. Looks like he's using simple electric motors and FCG rigs to get most of his movements but holy crap! Just fantastic! It reminds me of the xmas light videos that were circulating around this year.
I've had my bluckies around the campfire and climbing the house and on a swing but... sheesh! I can't even begin to imagine where to get that many! He must have bought out every Big Lots for miles.

Check it out!

Use Real Alternative. Works great.

Also get Quick Time Alternative.

These are an older version of Windows Media Classic with the codecs for Real Player and Quicktime.
Works great, no hassle, no spyware.

That almost looks like the guy from the director of the Simpsons who does Halloween stuff. He was on Extreme Halloween if you have seen it.

That's because it is the guy from Extreme Halloween. And he was a writer, not a director. :p

I believe his was the first segment on the show. He was they guy trying to make the mini-theme park in his front yard.

I agree, his haunt is WAY EXTREME!! I'm sure he used douglas fir hacks on those pumpkins, judging by the eyes. Oh, Billman..Introduce yourself in the Welcome room!

I believe he talks a little bit about how he did it on the HGTV Extreme Halloween show. I'll have to take a quick look at it later on and get back to you, but I don't think he used the douglas fir hack!

It was just a guess, I'm curious how he did it too.

I could have sworn he mentioned it in the Extreme Halloween special, but he didn't talk about how he did it. So maybe he did use a douglas fir hack.

Rick's Extreme Halloween....
His name is Rick Polizzi, He is a producer of the Simpsons.
His webpage is www.hauntinggrounds.org/polizzi/rpeh.htm
It is actually a link from the Hallowed Haunting Grounds, another amazing haunt.(Which had its last year in 2005).Several of the video links were not working ,last time I checked. Also, this site hasnt been updated since 2003,
so he may not be doing this any more.
But, its still fun to look at.

A few years ago Wal Mart sold a Big Mouth Pumpkin with the moving mouth and blinking eyes. I believe they had a audio jack in the back of them. I don't know if he's using those or not. Now most of Wal Mart's talking props doesn't have the audio jack.

You can tell this guy is good with production......he did a super job of editing his work. Most people (so did I) that sees that video thinks all of the different props sings a different part of the song. It was 2 years before someone told me that all the props sing all the words.

OMG... you don't know where that song is from? It's one of the songs from Tim Burton's "The Nightmare Before Christmas."

Oops....I have seen Nightmare Before Christmas but quite a few years ago and I only saw it once. I'm going to have to watch it again because I don't really remember it very well. I thought I had heard the song before but I had no memory of from where. Anyway, thank you Zombie :jol:

I wonder if all the staff on the Simpsons are such Halloween fans, or if it's just him. It might explain the Treehouse of Horrors. The Simpsons are one of only a few very select series that repeatedly air new Halloween specials.
