I don't want to be a pain here, so I am just putting up the link to my yahoo site and guiding you to the various albums, just in case anyone was interested.

The album with the styrofoam wig head on it is the one with the tree I'm working on. I know I posted this the other day but I added a few faces to it and took new pics the other day.

The album labeled coffin build is from this past Saturday, when Vlad and Black Cat came down to help us build a half coffin for our yard. I don't know what we would do without friends like this. No matter what I say about him, he's a great guy. OK, OK, I admit it, I actually like him....SHEESH!!!!

The album labled zombie has the redone Santa in it and the newly added guitar player. I'm not quite happy with the way she turned out but from a distance I think she'll be fine. She was supposed to have a much better outfit on but then I decided that having her head turn would be kinda cool, so I put her in a dress instead so I can put the fan underneath it. She is sitting on a dress-maker dummy.

Oh well, that's it for now. We now return to our holiday prop building projects.

Not a pain at all, I like seeing pictures of things people are doing. I still love your face on a tree idea, and I'm gonna try a few myself with left over skull face pulls. But I have to say, a picture of Vlad in deep thought, now THATS scary!:D

Definitely a good time had by all at the coffin build. And good Lord what a feast Trish (Pattie) put on that evening! I brought down some heavy duty
3/4" plywood to make the coffin, so that we can mount whatever motors or eventually pneumatics will power the door. The next session will be either routering it to look like plank construction, or adding wood trim pieces to make it look like a more formal coffin. Then we'll add lights, and some heavy guage red cellophane for the cross opening, and for now a simple open and closing mechanism for the door.
Patties ZZ top Santa hack really looks great in person, it's the first Santa hack I've seen that doesn't look like either Pirate Santa, or ghoul Santa, lol.
It was fun to pull down the street and see latex faces pinned on a tree!
And yes HJ prop making is serious business! lol.

Looks like a good time was had by all and some great props were born! I wish there were haunt enthusiasts living close to me so we could do something like this.
