I shamelessly took the conception of these from a how-to webpage that's linked on this forum somewhere. We'll have a mad scientist this year at the house, and here's some curiosities that are bound to wind up on display in his lab.

Nicee job - they look good. I just purchased some severed fingers, mini skulls and mini skeletons to make some jars. I need to figure out what liquids to use. I have had suggestions ranging from water with food coloring to Jello.

I like the rope wrapped around the tops of the jars--very nice effect. Will have to do that.

i just used food coloring in plain water. the props will be in dim light anyway, so i figure the contents are dark enough as is.
Yeah, on the rope, that's just jute twine. You're actually supposed to paint the rope with brown/black, to make it look old. So, I've got 1 more step to do!

Those turned out amazing! It's the details like that, that make everything more spooky!

Hey everyone,
Thanks a ton for all the kind compliments. Let's all hope & wish & pray we each can get all the stuff done that needs doing in the 67 days, 3 hours and 49 minutes left to us.
