I really feel like i need to add something new to the gore room in my haunted house this year. What are some in-expensive things i can make to create some cool stuff.

(I use quite a bit of foam insulator guts already)

Meat hooks with hanging fleshy bits.
Clear plastic sheet with bloody splatters and handprints.
Bloody body parts in clear plastic garbage bags.
A live actor to be the torture victim.

I love my Great Stuff. I usually hit it with some bright red, followed by a shot of yellow, blue, then a little maroon. I use it with a pile of bones, on a cutting table, as drippings from the cutting table, and on the "stubs" of store-bought body parts as well as my broken mannequin pieces.

Throw some red and/or maroon paint on the walls and add a few bloody hand prints. Make sure you have use a kid for the hand prints - seems to affect people more.

Can you get your hands on an old fridge? Can do lots with one of those.

I mention this on every thread....lol. Disposeable diapers...take all the papery & hard gel like stuff out....put it in a BIG bowl/storage bin as it gets huge/expands...add water..add dye of your choice ....keep adding water til its the consistency you want. It looks like slightly chunky gel/blood/goo, etc. and virtually free..and lasts a few days even outdoors. I get more comments on my goo.....I used a weird yellow color one year (the color came from a clearance Wilton frosting dye that was the color of Winnie The Pooh) and it was a hit.

And make sure your fresh gore looks WET...too many people don't use gloss paint....

I also think not enough people use smells for effect...maybe grab a crockpot and simmer some skunk cabbbage? LOL.

Ditto on the Great Stuff. Look at my album from 2009. I made some hanging intestines with rope and Great Stuff. Let me know if you'd like a how-to

An additional shot of clearcoat on the gloss makes a big difference too

I use expansion foam splashed liberally with blood and red paint. Highlighting it with some sickly yellows and browns makes it look just like spilled intestines.
