Here's a pic of the start of my first paper mache project. Just bought the led's today for the lantern. Hopefully I will be able to work on that tonight if I can get the kids to bed soon. It's impossible to get anything done around here. They already interupted my 3 times so far this post. It's a wonder anything I write isn't just a jumble of crap!!

Thought I'd do an update. Wish I had more time to work on this stuff like you other prop whore's. :D Eye and worm in eye are maybes. Any thoughts? Diffenetly will do eye ball better. Just a flat piece of paper now to see if I like the idea.

Wow, I don't know how I missed this thread, darryl, that is looking really good. I know what you mean about finding time to build with wife and kids. I call it the no sleep method!

Looks great, what Paper mache recipe do you all use. Everytime I go to do paper mache I find 50 different ones. what ones dry the hardest and work best for you guys? :jol:

wow i really like that are you going to stain it to look bone like or what kind of lighting are you going to use ?
are you putting the LED`s in the lantern? maybe the glow from that would be just right. very cool... now we need the how to. please!!

Looks good to me, darryl! I wish I could bring myself to corpse a Bucky, but there's just something about bleached bones that gets to me. Very nice work!

Thanks for sharing the paper mache stuff! That'd be so much lighter than monster mud, I think I'd like to use it on my mummy! Your projects look just great!
